Look to the right, there's a Get Banners button so you can put our banners in your blog, myspace, website, forum signature, or wherever that takes html or bbcodes.
Also! Wanna know what? I got rid of that horizontal scrollbar that used to show up in Internet Explorer! While working on the banners page IE fucked up the page format terribly. So I went to search the internet for a way to display a message to anyone using IE that the reason it looked like shit was because IE sucks and to use Firefox or Opera instead. However while searching I also found a way to load a different css file for IE users. Since I was able to do this I was also able to get rid of the horizontal scrollbar in IE without making it look like shit in Firefox and Opera. Though since IE doesnt't like to handle the 'float' property correctly the page format is still messed up on the banners page, but at least not nearly as bad as before. So now the loyal IE users can view the site without that horizontal scrollbar annoyance, although they should still switch to a different browser for security reasons.

I was messing with website's code in the audio section today to make the cool little links so the info appears on demand. So when I was done I tested it in IE like I always do, and that damn horizontal scrollbar started to piss me off. So after setting off and searching the internet for a hack to get rid of it, I came accross this article. After reading that, guess what? I decided fuck Internet Explorer.
I'm not going to spend my time trying to search the internet for a way to make my code that complies with the standards compatable with a browser, whos corporation doesn't give a shit enough to fix it anyway. Fuck 'em, I've got better things to do. Evil Smile

I made us a forum. Check it out and register here: http://sonador.freeforums.org
Unfortunetly if you're using Internet Explorer you'll see ads on the page since it's hosted on a free site, but if you're using Firefox with the NoScript add-on installed, you wont see the ads Cool Smile
I'll probably make a button to link to it and add it to the site later tonight.

Lipstick Homicide was awesome last Thursday. It seems like something bad always has to happen to us before we go see a show for some reason. You can read more about it here.

New song, I Wanna Get Away From You, up in the audio section. I recorded all the tracks in one take, so that's why the guitar solo is screwed up, and when I started losing my voice at the end of the song I just screamed. I didn't feel like fixing it then, I'll re-record it later.
Also!!! We're going to see Lipstick Homicide in Iowa City today!!! I'm so excited, we haven't seen them in almost two months!

Check out House of Large Sizes, we saw them with Petit Mal the Friday before last it was awesome. You can download a few of their songs here. Some of the links are screwed up but if you mess with the url you can still download them.
Also we don't come up at number one with a scroogle search of 'sonador iowa' anymore, oh well.

Guess what? If you do a Scroogle search with the terms: sonador iowa, our myspace page comes up in the number one spot, and if you search with: sonador punk, we come up at number 5, and if you use: sonadorband, we're the only ones that show up.

New song up, you can check it out in the audio section. Also I made us a ReverbNation page a couple of days ago check it out here: http://www.reverbnation.com/sonador
That site is pretty awesome, you can create a fan account and then join our street team, then we can create "missions" for you to help promote us, like helping get the word out about upcomming shows, help spread our music, or recruit new fans. Then we can reward those who help us. Also we can recommend other cool music to you, it seems like a pretty cool idea to me, I hope it gets more recognition.

Well I redid the website using css instead of tables so it loads quicker, and is much easier to edit now. So of course Internet Explorer still doesn't want to work with me. It put an odd horizontal scrollbar at the bottom of some of the pages of the main window, like this news page, the pics, and the links pages. Also their is some extra content on the video page that shows up just fine in Firefox and Opera but in IE it doesn't. Maybe it shows up in IE 7 but I'm not installing that piece of crap on my computer just to test it. As you can tell I pretty much hate Micro$oft and all that it stands for. Someday ReactOS will be stable enough to replace that shitty OS they call Windows, and Free Software will overthrow the evil tyrant.
In other news, we're going to see Petit Mal in Iowa City tonight, hooray! This is the first time we'll be seeing them. It's gonna be good.

Good news! The website looks fucked up in Internet Explorer 6 again! I'm tired of fucking around with the website's code to try to make it look good in IE. Really, if you're still using that shitty browser it's time to switch, and if you're viewing this on a school or work computer it's time for them to switch too, Mozilla Firefox and Opera are way better than that piece of shit will ever hope to be.

The support guys at Ustream.tv got our account working again, so maybe we'll broadcast ourselves jamming, or practicing, or something sometime soon. I'll post a date here, in the shows section, and on our myspace ahead of time if/when we decide to do it.

I set up a live webcast at ustream.tv for us, so hopefully we can broadcast live concerts and stuff and anyone will be able to watch it. Unfortunetly somehow I accidentally deleted the account right after I made it so I sent ustream an e-mail and I'm waiting for the support people to get it back up again. In the meantime I think the chat still works so you can use that if you want, it's in the video section. Also I finally figured out why the mp3 player wasn't working in IE, I needed to upgrade flash player for my IE browser, makes sense since I never use that stupid browser. So if the player isn't working in the audio section try updating your flash player.

Got the website looking pretty good in both Firefox and Internet Explorer now, though the mp3 player still doesn't work in IE. Oh well at least the video player works in IE.

Finally got the website looking halfway decent, for some reason it looks really crappy on Internet Explorer, but looks pretty good in Firefox. Also I can't get the mp3 player in the audio section to work with IE either, Internet Explorer sucks.

Success! A progressive past couple of days, I was able to teach Billy When I Come Around and Brain Stew by Green Day. Although on When I Come Around I just have him follow the guitar instead of the way the bass really goes, but I don't care, it's still progress as far as I'm concerned. So we've been practicing those two songs nonstop. Still working on getting him to learn Holiday and Boulevard of Broken Dreams. Don't know why I'm practicing so much Green Day at the moment...oh well.
Anyway in other news we're still looking for a drummer, I plan on putting up a musician wanted type ad on myspace, byofl.org, and maybe musicmates.com if I can figure out how that one works.

Nothing much right now, Billy is still taking bass lessons, and we're still practicing. Soon I will start looking for a drummer and depending on how things go we may recruit another guitarist.
